So excited that there are monster fashion dolls! My daughters are 5 and 2 and a half and they love, love , love their dols! They play with them more than their Barbies! I've read reviews where people complain about them falling apart, but my girls have had them for months and play with them regularly and we haven't had a problem!

I gave up playing with dolls a long time ago, but as soon as I discovered the Monster High range, I couldn't resist. They are so creatively designed, amazing attention to detail, and definitely good collector items for adults (even though I took mine out of the box, I guess technically it's not a collector's piece anymore... oh well..). Gloom Beach Frankie is such a cute little doll, and I love all the Frankenstein-related details in her design - stitches, bolts, lightening streaks, right down to the little alligator clips that are her handbag straps. She comes with a display stand, brush and sunglasses, and her limbs are adjustable and detachable. I don't have any complaints about the doll... but I do tend to treat it very carefully as I can see it's quite delicate. Therefore I wouldn't recommend it for a small child or one who is a bit rough with their toys. It's not the kind of doll you'd stick in your backpack and take to school, like you would a Barbie doll. There are lots of tiny parts that could easily fall out or break or become lost. I suppose it's more of a fashion display doll for older kids, or children who are very gentle with their toys. As long as you treat Frankie and her friends with tender love and care you shouldn't have any problems........ :)

I bought this for my daughter for a Christmas present. She is 5 and loves these dolls. It was exactly as described online and no complaints about it. They come with a stand to hook them on in case the kids would like to stand them up and display them also. Great idea!
